Independent Business Status

A listing on MyVinVerification.com does not create, imply, or suggest any employment, agency, partnership, joint venture, or franchise relationship between the listed business and MyVinVerification.com. All businesses listed in this directory are independently owned and operated. MyVinVerification.com is a directory service only and has no authority over, and assumes no responsibility for, the operations, conduct, pricing, scheduling, or quality of service of any listed provider.

No Dispute Handling

MyVinVerification.com does not mediate, arbitrate, or otherwise handle disputes between listed providers and their customers. Any dispute arising from a transaction or service engagement between a listed provider and a customer is solely the responsibility of those parties. MyVinVerification.com will not be held liable for any claim, loss, or damage arising from such disputes.

Accuracy of Information

Listed providers are responsible for ensuring that all information submitted for their directory listing — including license status, service areas, contact information, and vehicle types — is accurate and current. MyVinVerification.com reserves the right to update or remove any listing at its sole discretion.

Removal from Directory

MyVinVerification.com reserves the right to remove any listing at any time, for any reason, including but not limited to: loss of CA DMV licensure, receipt of a substantiated misconduct report, failure to meet directory standards, or at the sole discretion of MyVinVerification.com. Removal decisions are final.

Independent Providers

All businesses listed on MyVinVerification.com are independent, privately owned businesses. They are not employees, agents, or representatives of MyVinVerification.com. When you contact a listed provider and engage their services, you are entering into a direct agreement with that independent business — not with MyVinVerification.com.

Disputes with Providers

MyVinVerification.com cannot assist with, mediate, or resolve disputes between consumers and listed service providers. This includes but is not limited to disputes regarding pricing, service quality, scheduling, refunds, or damages. Such disputes must be addressed directly between you and the service provider. If you are unable to resolve a dispute, you may wish to contact the California DMV or consult with an attorney.

No Endorsement

Inclusion in the MyVinVerification.com directory does not constitute an endorsement, guarantee, or warranty of any provider's services. While we require listed providers to hold a valid CA DMV license and meet minimum experience requirements, MyVinVerification.com makes no representations about the quality, reliability, or suitability of any listed provider for your specific needs. You are encouraged to do your own due diligence before engaging any service provider.

Reporting Misconduct

While MyVinVerification.com cannot assist with service disputes, we take reports of illegal conduct seriously. If a listed provider engaged in conduct you believe to be illegal — including fraud, theft, falsification of DMV documents, or other criminal activity — you may report it to us using the contact form below.

Please understand the following before submitting a misconduct report:

• We will review and investigate every misconduct report we receive.
• If a report is substantiated, the listed provider will be removed from the directory.
• Submitting a misconduct report to MVV does not substitute for reporting illegal activity to law enforcement or the California DMV.
• MVV's investigation is limited to the decision of whether to maintain or remove a directory listing. We are not a law enforcement agency.
